Irão executa jornalista dissidente capturado em França

O jornalista dissidente iraniano Ruhollah Zam, que foi condenado por fomentar a violência durante protestos anti-governamentais em 2017, foi executado no sábado, informou a televisão estatal iraniana.

O Irão disse na terça-feira que o Supremo Tribunal tinha mantido a sentença de morte de Zam, que foi capturado em 2019 após anos a viver no exílio em França. A televisão estatal afirmou que Zam, “director da rede contra-revolucionária Amadnews, foi enforcado no sábado de manhã”.

A França e grupos de direitos humanos condenaram a decisão do Supremo Tribunal iraniano.
